Being treated unfairly – 0-10

What is discrimination?

Discrimination is when someone treats you badly or unfairly because of who you are.

This could be because of your age; the things that you do or believe in; the way that you look or the colour of your skin.

It’s wrong for these things to happen – no one should treat another person differently because of how they look, or the things they do.

If this is happening to you, it’s not your fault and you must tell someone to help stop it.

What can I do if this is happening to me?

  • Tell an adult that you trust. If it is happening at school, tell a teacher. They will help you deal with what is happening and should talk to the person who is doing it.
  • Talk to Voice. We have helped lots of people like you and can help sort things out so it stops.
