Speaking out
We know how difficult it can be to speak out or seek help after you’ve experienced a crime.
This goes for people in all sorts of situations. You may feel embarrassed that you feel the need to reach out, you may be being pressured by someone to stay quiet, you may be scared to talk about something, or you may be living with someone who has committed a crime against you.
Whatever your situation, Voice is here for you. Contacting us is completely confidential – you don’t even have to tell us your name, address or age. The Voice service is also completely free – because we know that everybody needs a helping hand every now and again, big or small.
Our team of friendly staff have helped thousands of people like you and we can assist with everything from providing someone to talk to about a traumatic experience, to practical matters such as providing safety equipment.
We also work with a network of other agencies to ensure that each unique situation is supported as is best possible.
