How to turn off UK wide emergency alert
On Sunday 23rd April at 3pm, the UK Government will be testing the new national Emergency Alert service with 10 second alerts being sent to mobiles across the country.
In the future, the aim of the service is to warn people if there if a danger to life nearby with alerts being sent so people can get to safety.
However concerns have been raised by domestic abuse charities that these alerts could endanger anyone who has a second or secret phone that they keep hidden.
